Active Server Pages

Chili!Soft ASP provides full ASP support for our Web servers. Active Server Pages lets you freely mix together HTML tags and "script" (ASP commands) on a page. A ".asp" at the end of page's filename indicates that Chili!Soft ASP should process the contents of the file.

A ".asp" at the end of page's filename indicates that Chili!Soft ASP should process the contents of the file. The two scripting languages provided with ASP (VBScript and JScript) let you embed conditional logic, loops, math and string functions in your HTML.  The key concept behind ASP is to use scripting language to access the methods and properties of objects. ASP provides a core set of objects, called the 5 Intrinsics, that includes the Application, Request, Response, Server, and Session objects.
